What’s included in the adventure?

Accommodation

Our MC adventurers will have exclusive use of Lochbuie Guests House in Kyleakin.

Accommodations on the Isle of Skye are basic, but charming and this particular spot offers a cosy fireplace, beautiful views across the water, and is very close to Caisteal Maol.

Shared dorms mean a more intimate experience with your fellow MC’s, but for the most part the lodge is there for us to sleep, rest and recharge before mega exploration days on Skye!

Food

A basic continental breakfast at the lodge will be included in your ticket cost, however dinners at local pubs will be booked in advance and snack stops will be scheduled so you can purchase whatever tickles your fancy!

From basic lunch stops (read: take a sandwhich to a beautiful viewpoint) to cosy pubs, to bakeries with good coffee, we’ll ensure you have the best locations to grab food no matter your preference or dietary requirements.

Activities

Each day of our trip will be jam-packed with activities, but with plenty of time to explore each location. We don’t want to rush you!

You’ll be offered insight and history to each of our curated stops and your itinerary has been hand-picked by our director Gabby, a seasoned Skye visitor, to embrace the very best the island and the drive to Skye has to offer.

From the Fairy Pools to the Quiraing, Eilean Donan Castle to the mountains of Glencoe - you’re going to be blown away by how much you get to see!

Take a look below for our full itinerary.

We also have options for payment plans, so please get in touch with us after you’ve secured your space and we can make that happen.

We cannot wait for you to join us and experience the magic of Skye!

  • Tickets go on sale on this page July 18th at 9.30am BST sharp! Please note, we have over 250 ladies on the waitlist and our last group trip sold out in 3 minutes, so to avoid disappointment, make sure you save the date in your calendar as it’s first in, first served.

Places can be secured with a £100 deposit (with the remainder of £550 due October 10th)

Make sure you join the waitlist here for email updates when ticket are live!

  • Can I attend with a friend?

You absolutely can, and there will be an opportunity for you to let us know who you’re attending with after you’ve booked your place! We will do our best to ensure you gals are sharing a room too!

Please don’t forget this is a ladies-only event; leave the boys behind for this one! 😉

How large are the bunk beds & what's the bathroom situation?

Bunks comfortably fit an adult and have USB ports and a light in each of them. All bed linen is provided at our accommodation.

There are 3 shared bathrooms in the accommodation, all with heated water, of course! Towels will be part of your personal packing list which we'll provide.

What if I don’t live in Edinburgh?

The coach to and from Skye will be departing and returning to Edinburgh. Unfortunately, we are unable to pick guests up from alternative locations.

    Are there any age restrictions?

The Skye Road trip is an 18+ event, and the majority of our attendees range between 20-45 years old!

How physically active will the trip be?

We consider ourselves lazy outdoors girlies here at the MCC. All outdoor included activities will require basic fitness, but nothing crazy! If you’re worried, please get in touch with us for clarification.

Our hike at the Quiraing will be weather-dependent and optional! You can either walk with the crew or hang back - it's a gorgeous view regardless!

    What happens if it rains?

Scotland is a rainy, misty country, and the weather changes frequently in November! Because of this, our itinerary must be a wee bit flexible to ensure your safety and enjoyment on the trip.

We always say, prepare for rain, and if we get a sunny day, magic! But in our opinion, Skye is much more enjoyable on a misty day.

Is there any free time to explore on my own?

Due to this being a 3-day trip with shorter daylight hours, there will be limited extra exploration time. We ask that you stick with the group for our allocated stops; we've curated the trip to be the most Insta-worthy, photo-opportunity-heavy trip EVER!

However, when we return to the guest house in the evenings, the time is yours to do whatever you like! Whether that's reading a book, playing a board game, or being anti-social AF while you doom scroll - that's totally up to you!

    What is your refund/cancellation policy?

Refunds: We totally get it – sometimes plans change. That's why we offer refunds if you need to cancel your booking. Just give us a heads-up at least 8 weeks before your event date, and we'll work our magic to process your refund. After all, we know how important it is to stay flexible when life throws side quests our way.

Cancellation Policy: Life happens, and we understand that. If you need to cancel your booking within 8 weeks of your event, don't worry – we've got your back. While refunds may not always be possible due to vendor commitments, we're here to help find the best solution for you. Just reach out, and let's chat about how we can make things right.

    I have another question!
